The question paper will have 150 questions, out of which about 90 questions will be of Technical Ability & General Science and about 60 questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning.

Paper I will consists of MCQ based questions only. Earthing practices and IE Rules. The Eligibility Criteria for SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2016 is based on 3 areas- Nationality of the candidate, Age of the candidate and Educational Qualification of the candidate. Electrical Machines etc. Candidates, who secure at least the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination, are eligible to appear for Interview.
